3M™ stem connectors sc series feature a tin plated aluminium barrel for installations on either copper or aluminium cable conductors and are used when connecting a riser cable to an overhead line. The sc series connectors are also used when terminating an insulated power cable with 3M™ terminations. Sc series connectors are provided with a factory crimped and sealed, tin plated copper stem for aerial line connection. A suggested accessory to the stem connector is the CP-1 parallel clamp that enables the connection of the stem connector to the overhead jumper wire.
